Punto Triplo

An indefinite state, a vague circumstance,
PUNTO TRIPLO stands in between the boundaries among what is defined as Solid, Liquid or Gas.
In Chemistry the Triple Point is the condition of temperature and pressure under which the gaseous, liquid, and solid phases of a substance can exist in equilibrium.
In my collection I approach this theme by adopting big volumes starting from kimono oversized bases and deconstructing them in order to create wavy and undulating shapes that would give an impression of undetermined matter.
Can a solid living being be described as liquid?
Ice is the solid manifestation of frozen water, the same substance that melted becomes liquid and eventually turns into gas through evaporation.
The matter we are observing is yet the same, however the way in which it is presented influences its perception and inevitably its appearance.
My garments want to manifest liberty from these restrictions and embody a world where the phases can coexist with balance.
Staring from a minimal style, the collection has developed its personality with the use of mostly light colours hues and transparent fabrics.

I took inspiration from oriental and contemporary experimental fashion, accompanied with my appreciation to Furniture, Art and Design which helped me to develop different volumes' studies.

I address my collection to any person who wants to express their own personality/personalities through a both Solid, Liquid and Gas exhibition.
